“I’m just here to be a vessel.”

Meet the Founder.

Lakeisha Allen is a 29-year-old writer, facilitator, and passionate advocate for holistic healing. With a background in psychology and education, she brings a people-centered approach to everything she does. Her work is rooted in creating spaces that help others understand, accept, and love themselves more deeply—because the world needs more of that.

Over the years, Lakeisha has witnessed the transformative power of authentically loving, intentional spaces, especially within the Black community. This mission drives her work, and theGRPCHT has become one of her most cherished ways to bring that vision to life.

the Mission: Since its inception in June of 2024, here at theGRPCHT, we are fostering individual and collective healing through safe and open dialogue that lovingly challenges us to be present in our growth. We believe that through our bimonthly group sessions, rooted in intentionality, we can lead our communities to a more unified and healthy future.

the Vision: Our vision is to create a world where we are all equipped and empowered to take control over our healing and subsequently, our lives.

Dialogue

We believe that increasing the frequency of fruitful conversations happening amongst not only ourselves but others, will help foster healing.

Honesty

We believe that the root of true change can only be reached through honest questions and honest answers.

Safety

We believe that everyone deserves spaces that are free of fear or judgement on their quest for healing.

Community

We believe that the want for belonging is an innate human experience. We emphasize the importance of ensuring that our tribe is made up of those with values that are in alignment with our own.

Collaboration

We believe that when people get together and leverage their skills it makes way for greater impact.

Empowerment

We believe that equipping individuals with physical, mental, emotional and spiritual tools aids in creating a more resilient community overall.

Accessibility

We believe that tools for change should not be hard to find or experience regardless of location, age, sex, or socioeconomic status.

the Values: We value dialogue, honesty, safety, community, collaboration, empowerment and accessibility.
